Programs and Services

We follow the Manitoba provincial curriculum to ensure our students meet recognized academic standards, while also embedding Cree culture and traditions into every stage of learning.

Our approach combines classroom learning with hands-on experiences that prepare students academically, socially, and personally. We focus on literacy, numeracy, science, health, and life skills, while also encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and community involvement.

Our programs focus on:

  • Strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, Industrial arts, science, and the arts
  • Cree language instruction from early years through high school
  • Land-based learning activities that connect students to their heritage and environment
  • Leadership and mentorship opportunities that encourage responsibility and confidence

With support from Manitoba First Nations SchoolNet (MFNS) and others, we offer resources, cultural programs, and technology to strengthen learning

Our Role in the Community

We are more than a school-we are a vital part of Tataskweyak Cree Nation. We bring our community together for:

  • Seasonal feasts and cultural gatherings
  • Sports teams, tournaments, and fitness programs
  • Special events and celebrations of student achievement
  • Community learning opportunities for all ages
